Budvar

Since 1895 Budweizer Budvar has brewed Czech lager, made using local ingredients and aged in cellars in České Budejovice, South Bohemia. It is still owned by the people of the Czech Republic. Lagering, or ‘cellaring’, is the traditional way of brewing lager beer. While many breweries are moving away from it, Budvar are committed to this process of slowly maturing the beer, adding bolder, deeper flavors.
