In 1856 Henri Maes kicked off his brewing activities in the city center of Bruges, Belgium. Every generation passes their brewing experience on to the next in the family. Today, six generations have made their mark on what is now the taste of Bruges. Aside from tradition and respect, innovation with sustainability being key, so that future generations can keep on enjoying these delicious beers. Brugse Zot, Straffe Hendrik and Blanche de Bruges are all brewed in this historic brewery.
