Beer 2016 is the latest in Camden's annual range of beers. 2013 was a Tripel but since then they have all been barrel aged lagers. Beer 2016 has been aged in cognac, bourbon and tequila barrels for 12 months, and only 2016 bottles have been produced!
This Thursday we will have Maria from Camden Town Brewery in the store offering tasters of Beer 2016. We also have a few bottles of 2014 & 15 ageing in the back that we will bring out on the evening if you wish to buy a few years worth!

Brooklyn Brewery is one our favourite breweries. We drink in their tap room every time we visit NY and have done the tour twice!
Some of their most exciting and interesting beers are only available in 750ml bottles which can be a bit daunting to buy. On the night everyone gets a can of the aforementioned Summer Ale to start the night off. Then we will be sharing Local 2, Sorachi Ace, Black Ops and Improved Old Fashioned. There will be some Brooklyn Brown Ale Banana bread and some meats and cheese to eat as well.
Brooklyn's UK rep Rachael will be on hand to guide us through the beers and talk about the brewery in general.

This is a great opportunity to watch how it's done if you are looking to home brew yourself, or if you're just interested in the process.
We'll also have Simon from One Mile End (a different Simon) in to guide us through their beers and talk about their brewing process.
