Nath Vertical Tasting (2019 to 2023)

Cantillon Nath is a two year old lambic with rhubarb added.

The history of Cantillon's experimentation with rhubarb dates to the release of Zwanze 2008 with iterations of rhubarb lambic being produced up until the summer of 2017 when the brewery received several shipments of freshly cut rhubarb and for the first time since Zwanze 2012, the rhubarb lambic received an official name: Nath, named after the brewer’s wife. Nathalie is also a kindergarten teacher, and the label was drawn by children from her classroom as a surprise. 

In this event we will be going on a journey throughout the ages of Nath (or at least the ages we had in store). Including 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022 & 2023. This particular lambic develops a more complex flavor profile as it ages, with notes of lemon, Belgian aged hops, grapefruit, and a faint woodiness.
