The Smoked BrownÂ is inspired by a time when malt was kilned over open fires, imparting a delicate smoked character to the beer. This practice is continued today in Bamberg, Germany, and its from here where A&H purchase their Rauch (smoked) malt. The Smoked Brown has a delicate smoked aroma, along with fruit, toffee and caramel.
