Shallow Back Apricot 4% ABV (500ml)

Apricot Shallow Back Mixed Culture Berliner Weisse with fruit is markedly different from its base. Half Acre took a single barrel of Shallow Back, a mixed culture Berliner Weisse and refermented it on fresh apricots from Noffke farms in Michigan. It displays notes of vanilla, sourdough bread and barn on the nose, with a full mouthfeel and moderate acidity. They did not pitch any Brettanomyces into this beer, its present character comes from the naturally occurring yeast on the skins of the fruit.
