2019 harvest batch of Biere de Saison Quince. It is slightly less floral than the first batch (2018), more straightforwardly fruity. More reminiscent of its appley relatives. Dry, crisp, tannic, tart, delicious. This saison is Kernel's house mixed culture refermented with quinces from Hazel Street Farm in Kent for 4 months in one of the Kernel's oak foeders, at 250g of fruit per litre of beer. It has then been conditioned in bottle for another 5 months.
