Solid State IPA 6.5% (440ml)

Solid State... A super creamy, massively tropical and punchy collaboration with Yakima Chief Hops! This 6.5% IPA utilises the All Together malt bill, so expect a light golden yellow beer (as you can see above), with a soft and creamy mouthfeel, that still provides a little zip on the finish. Yakima Chief Hops have provided us with a selection of Cryo hops to test out. Cryo hops are something we don't regularly use at the moment, however we'd certainly like to change that in the future. A collaboration with YCH provided the perfect opportunity to trial a few different varieties and brew a delicious beer in the process! Cryo hops are pellets with considerably less green matter. This means they often have twice the oil content and alpha acids. The pay off is you can use half the amount. The other benefits as far as we can see are that you get a different profile from the same varieties, and by blending with regular T90 hop pellets at differing ratios, we can nail down exact aromatics in the beer. This coupled with lower hop loading through the centrifuge should enable a jump in yield and most definitely an improvement in workflow. All in all pretty exciting for the brew team
