20th December Advent Calendar - Octopi Double Maple Imperial Morning
So this is a bit of a punchy beer for a Sunday, but it's my birthday. Usually "breakfast stouts" refer to the addition of coffee, and oatmeal in the grist, but this beer would be very at home poured over your pancakes. There is a lot of maple in this beer, however the coffee stops it becoming to claggy. This is a lovely sweet and boozy treat, perhaps not for the morning though...
